Jim Scherer has been a professional food photographer for more than 25 years. He got his first taste of food photography shooting a cookbook with Julia Child in 1977. Jim went on to shoot two more books with the legendary chef and became addicted to the specialty. Today, he regularly works on the Boston Globe Magazine weekly food page, and shoots for restaurants, food corporations and advertising agencies.
